Medicine's version of Jerry Springer, Dr. Mehmet Oz, has been under a lot of fire since four American Council on Science and Health-affiliated doctors spearheaded a campaign to have Columbia University reconsider his faculty status - and a lot of of his peers at Columbia agreed.
Dr. Oz has made numerous efforts to deflect the controversy, alleging the pro-science side is all being bought off by companies like Monsanto and even invoking a criminal case decades ago as to why every science body must be wrong - which led to the reminder that Wikileaks emails actually did show him offering to sell product placements on his show to Sony.
