glioblastoma multiforme

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), one of the most dreaded and deadly forms of brain cancer, has been on my mind recently because one of my dog-park friends was recently diagnosed with it.

Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, died from brain cancer.  As did Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy.  Brittany Maynard - suffering from a terminal type - became widely known for fighting for her right-to-die.
