COVID pandemic

The shame and blame game for COVID continues, with Senator Rand and Elon Musk suggesting that Dr. Fauci go on trial. But what I personally find disconcerting, although not surprising, is that few people remember the fear of those early days.

The Wall Street Journal published a news article on January 5, “Why It Feels Like Everyone You Know Is Getting COVID-19,” which contained several worrisome observations.

We aim to examine these pandemic trends holistically, recognizing that events on successive dates may not be entirely independent.

I ran across that lens while reading an article about filing cabinets in The Atlantic [1]

Unless your head is firmly implanted in your rectum, there can be little doubt about how COVID has devastated the world (if it is implanted up there, please let us know how the view is).
